Relevant products have been introduced in many scenarios such as portable consumption, household appliances, drinking water, car space, cold chain logistics, and public transportation.

1、 Disinfection and sterilization field: portable disinfection and sterilization products, cooling, high-power meters, or promising

Since the outbreak of the epidemic, the use of deep ultraviolet light to sterilize articles has once become a hot spot in the market. Portable watch killing products such as sterilization stick and disinfection bag loaded with UVC LED sterilization function have once been popular in the ultraviolet disinfection and sterilization market. Today, the popularity of such products is not as high as before. Although there are multiple factors such as the market, the fundamental reason is that the products themselves have not made users feel convenient, practical, and sufficient. In addition, it is difficult to visualize the sterilization effect of UVC, which also makes the customer experience in consumer grade products not realistic.

2、 Water disinfection and sterilization/purification field: stronger market certainty, positive performance of international large plants and water purification terminals

Toyota Synthetic, Nichia Chemical and other active layout, water disinfection and sterilization/purification application may be the most deterministic field of UVC LED at present. Toyota Synthetic stated that it will focus on the deep ultraviolet LED business and plans to install it in large facilities such as water purification plants and public facilities after 2023. At the same time, it will also expand small household appliances with household disinfection functions. According to information released by Taiya Semiconductor, a subsidiary of Riya Chemical, it will continue to develop multiple products with different optical power efficiency, mainly focusing on water sterilization and air sterilization treatment, suitable for the home appliance product market, and targeting the mainland market. Domestic enterprises such as Qingdao Dongyi UV, Yuanrong Jiesheng, Huiyi Technology and Shengpu Optoelectronics all launched UVC LED water disinfection and sterilization module products to accelerate the introduction of the terminal market. Taking the Qingdao Dongyi ultraviolet UVC LED 18L/min high flow flow flow water sterilization unit as an example, the disinfection effect of domestic drinking water was tested by the China Home Appliances Research Institute. The test results met the standard requirements of the “Disinfection Technical Specification” (2002 version). When the water flow rate of the product was 18L/min, the sterilization rate reached 99.99%, which can effectively replace the traditional 1T/H flow mercury lamp ultraviolet disinfection product.

3、 Air disinfection and sterilization/purification field: multi scene development, exploration and application prospects attract much attention 

UV air sterilization systems are mainly divided into household, medical and other fields according to their usage scenarios. Currently, their main application products include various types of air purifiers, air conditioners, etc. Adding UVC LED air disinfection and sterilization/purifying function to air purifiers and air conditioners can reduce viruses, bacteria and molds and improve air quality. At present, there are many domestic end companies that have entered the air purification industry, such as Midea, Gree, Haier, Hisense, Huawei, and Xiaomi, which have also cross-border developed UVC LED related air purification products. The application of UVC LED in air purification is highly regarded by the industry.
